Light Outs

The Locked Door...

You arrive at the door to the light house stairwell, breathing heavily. Much to your shock, the door is locked with 8 different pad locks. Each lock has a letter code underneath it.

To the left of the doorway, you notice an old paper. It is tough to read and the paper is badly weather damaged - but it is still legible. Your priest picks up the paper and begins to read it aloud...
"All ships will sail no more
For I have left 8 locks on the door
When the light burns out

There will be no doubt
That the ships will crash
And their cargo will smash
No rations or resources not even a ring
Down with traitors long live the Minotaur King"
As you look around, your mage notices that the single page is actually two scrolls stuck together from days of seawater splashing on to it and subsequently drying out.

He carefully peels the second paper to reveal instructions on how to open the locks. Your priest asks for the paper and begins to read the newly found instructions out loud...
"As I have little faith that any of you would be able to open these locks here is a clue!

Behind each lock is the name of a person. The word each lock needs to open is one word that best describes what each person has done with light research.

There will be no light for anyone since I have truly seen the light and that is the light of the Minotaur King. He will raise us up to rule this land and overthrow that pitiful ruler Master Heebs !"

Below are the 8 locks. Be sure to read the directions of each lock because only the most cunning will be able to unlock all 8. The devil is in the details so it is best to take your time. The ships are slowly approaching so you have time to think this through. There is no time to panic ... yet!

Best of luck...
